Trauma Therapy
Trauma therapy that helps you reclaim your voice and your peace
When your body keeps the score
Trauma doesn’t always look like one big event. Sometimes it’s years of subtle harm, emotional neglect, or unsafe environments that train your body to stay on high alert.
You might feel numb, disconnected, anxious, or stuck in survival mode. You might have memories that won’t fade — or no memory at all, only the aftermath. Trauma therapy helps you understand these responses, reconnect with your body, and start healing from the inside out.
No matter what happened — or how long ago — we’re here. We work with clients who have experienced:
Childhood trauma or developmental neglect
Physical, emotional, or sexual abuse
Medical or birth trauma
Identity-based or systemic trauma
Domestic violence or relationship abuse
Religious trauma or high-control environments
Accidents, disasters, or sudden loss
You don’t need a “trauma story” that sounds dramatic. If your nervous system hasn’t felt safe in a long time, that’s enough.
We support survivors of all kinds of trauma
You don’t have to go back to who you were
Trauma changes us. But healing is possible. With the right support, you can feel more connected to yourself, more in control of your life, and more hopeful about what comes next.

-
That’s common. Many people with trauma have partial or no memory of the event(s). We can still work with your symptoms, emotions, and body responses in a gentle and effective way.
-
They overlap. You don’t need a PTSD diagnosis to benefit from trauma therapy. We work with both single-incident and complex trauma — including long-term or developmental experiences.
-
No. You’re always in control of what you share and when. Many trauma-focused therapies don’t require detailed retelling to be effective. We follow your lead, not a script.
-
We offer stabilization-focused support for clients dealing with ongoing stress or danger. You don’t have to wait until things are “calm” to begin healing. We’ll meet you where you are.
-
It shouldn’t be. At Tangible, we always move slowly and center your sense of safety. If anything feels too intense, we pause. You set the pace. Always.
