Group Therapy

Find connection, feel understood, and grow alongside others who get it.

You Don't Have to Heal Alone

There's something powerful about being in a room, or a Zoom call, with people who truly understand what you're going through. Not because you explained it to them, but because they've lived it too.

Group therapy at Tangible brings together small groups of people navigating similar challenges, guided by a licensed therapist who keeps the space safe, focused, and genuinely helpful. It's therapy, just with the added support of people who get it.

A Different Kind of Support

Sometimes the most healing thing isn't advice, it's realizing you're not the only one. Group therapy has a way of doing that, without you even expecting it.

You'll still get professional clinical guidance every session. But you'll also gain something individual therapy can't replicate: the lived experience of others, the relief of being understood, and the momentum that comes from growing alongside people on a similar path.

All groups at Tangible are facilitated by licensed therapists and kept small enough that you won't get lost in the crowd.

What you’ll get

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • We try to keep the groups we offer updated, but group offerings change based on therapist availability and demand. Contact us to ask what's currently open.

  • Research consistently shows group therapy is just as effective as individual therapy for many challenges, and in some cases, more so, because the group dynamic itself becomes part of the healing. Many clients do both at the same time.

  • You share at your own pace. A good group therapist never forces disclosure. Most people find that after the first session or two, the group stops feeling like strangers pretty quickly.

  • If you're dealing with difficult challenges and feeling like no one understands group therapy might be worth exploring. We're happy to chat through it, book a free 15-minute consult and we'll help you figure out if a group is a good fit.

  • Group therapy is typically covered by insurance which helps keep group therapy extremely affordable. Most groups without insurance usually cost $30 per session. If you’d like a more detailed estimate of what group therapy may cost you, give us a call, and we will be happy to let you know.
